Di-vert is Britain’s first fully-audited office furniture waste recycling service which will cut the cost of your business move, while actively supporting a company’s Corporate & Social Responsibility (CSR) policy by providing a full audit trail. As part of its sustainable removals and recycling service, Robinsons can also supply, deliver and install new or recycled furniture for your new premises through our partners R&A Office Environments. All new furniture uses sustainable sources wherever possible, whilst re-using quality office furniture and seating is extremely cost effective as well as being environmentally friendly.
To use the Di-vert service, all you have to do it let us know before you move. We’ll come and visit your existing site to assess what’s involved and advise on either the costs or the income that you may expect from the clearance of your office or buildings. There are various options, depending on the condition and nature of the unwanted furniture and equipment – we can either sell it or donate it to a nominated charity. If it’s in good enough condition, we can send some abroad where there’s a demand, often in third world countries. If we can’t find a home for your unwanted furniture and disposal is the only option, we will dismantle it into its core components and recycle it, eliminating landfill.
Our policy is to re-use or recycle as much as possible, using a number of recycling options including scrap metal dealers and wood chip companies. Remember, it could be cheaper to recycle than to dispose of it yourself. Better for your finances, and better for the earth. Most importantly, we will provide you with certification and a full audit trail to prove what we’ve done with each item, which will be traceable to its point of sale, charitable donation or recycling destination. The whole process of getting rid of your waste will be entirely transparent, so you will get the satisfaction of knowing exactly where it’s gone, as well as the good PR opportunities it presents for your neighbourhood, the public and your customers.
